TEMISTh team will be in Dearborn, Michigan this summer to present its work on the use of lattice structure for the production of heat exchanger by additive manufacturing. Since 7 years, the company is working on the use of 3d cells for thermal applications. We start with metal foams characterization. Nowadays, additive manufacturing (3D printing) allows materializing very complex structures such as Kelvin cells, Gyroid etc. We will give a presentation of the use of lattice structure for phase change applications (boiling and condensing) and the results of our PhD student, Mr. Cédric SEPTET, obtained both with simulation and experimental set up.
You can also visit us on our booth in order to see prototypes of heat exchanger made by metal 3d printing.
